Reviews – The Genuine Article

• Mary Lou Halston • This book is about love and hate, betrayal and retribution, terrible choices and exciting adventures—all of which makes for a great read. I was engaged from the first sentence to the last. “The Genuine Article” has double meaning as the central character goes through the story, getting herself into all manner of trouble with everyone she knows and loves. Ashleigh is lovable … if at times you want to strangle her. That how involved you get.

• Terrence Monaghan • I don’t usually read “chick lit” but my girlfriend made me read The Genuine Article, and then she “forced me” to write a review. OK, here goes: It’s well-written, the characters are engaging, and the plot is sufficiently twisted that it held my interest. It has elements of The Maltese Falcon. I enjoyed it. There.

• Shanía • True love did not run smooth for Ashleigh Alexander in The Genuine Article, but it (the romance) was so good. Ashleigh and Graham were true soul mates … born to be together … if only they’d known it. I loved the two of them, and I adored all the secondary characters too … well, almost all of them. The twists and turns, and the ups and downs, in this story could make a person dizzy … in a good way.
